“We are thrilled to return to the HOT ROD Power Tour as the title sponsor, especially as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the iconic small block engine,” said Jim Campbell, U.S. VP of Chevrolet performance and motorsports. "This milestone not only honors our rich heritage but also highlights our commitment to innovation in performance. As we showcase our latest engine offerings, fans can expect to see a blend of classic power and cutting-edge technology that reflects our forward-looking approach to propulsion. We’re excited to engage with enthusiasts and celebrate the future of performance.”

Chevrolet Performance and HOT ROD have a rich history together, from building project cars together, like our 1957 Chevy nicknamed Project X, to collaborating on the release of its famed LSX engine lineup nearly 20 years ago. HOT ROD’s network director Mike Galimi shared his thoughts: “Chevrolet Performance has been an incredible partner over the years, supporting many editorial projects and bringing such awesome vehicles on tour each year to showcase their crate engines, GM-certified accessories, new cars and trucks, and the group’s engineering capabilities. We’re thrilled to have them join, once again, as title sponsor of HOT ROD Power Tour.”

It will be an action-packed opening day at Indianapolis Raceway Park where drag racing and autocross action join the regular lineup of festivities like the non-judged car show, manufacturers midway, and live entertainment on the Optima Battery main stage. New for this year is the Mickey Thompson Pro Street Alley, a showcase that’s a throwback to the 1980s with wild paint jobs, highly modified chassis, and big tires. The forecasted 6,000 participants will take to the streets on Tuesday morning, working their way north to Joliet, Illinois, where the famed Route 66 Raceway will host the show. Normally closed to the public, HOT ROD convinced the powers that be to open the dragstrip for the second stop on this year’s Power Tour.

The third day brings the road-bound car show back into Indiana. This time we’re hanging out at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, located in Fort Wayne. The fourth day, June 12, we move the cars and trucks on an easterly route into Monroe County Fairgrounds an hour south of Detroit. The final day, Friday, June 13, takes place where it all began in 1995—Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. The world-famous facility is home to one of the best quarter-mile dragstrips in the sport, which will be active most of the day.

Daily participant tickets are still available, and spectators are welcome to join us at each stop, with no charge for entry. Full event details and information are available here, including the official daily driving routes and HOT ROD–approved area attractions.
